What's Actually Changed
How Search Used to Work
Ranking on Google meant keywords, metadata, and enough content to be taken seriously. Most established sites were built for exactly that, and it worked.
Nothing about that was wrong! It was just earlier.
How People Find You Now
Google is one door. ChatGPT and Perplexity are others, and they read your site differently than a person does. They follow how your pages connect, what your structure says you're an authority on, and whether your content is clear enough to be understood and cited.
A site that isn't organized for that gets read as less than it is.
That's the gap the Reset closes. Not by rebuilding your site, but by fixing how it's put together underneath.
Most established businesses don't need a new website.
They need this one to work the way it should.
Your traffic flattened and you can't figure out why.
You publish, you post, you've done the things. The numbers stopped moving anyway.
Usually this isn't a content problem. It's that search engines can't tell what your site is really about, so none of your pages get full credit for the work behind them.
You don't need more traffic. You need the right handful of people to make it through.
If one client is worth thousands, a broken form or a buried contact page isn't a small problem. It's a lost quarter you'll never see on a report.
A Reset traces the actual paths people take to reach you and clears the ones that dead-end.
You have good content nobody finds.
Blog posts that ranked once and faded. Service pages that never got traction. Work you're proud of, sitting where no one runs into it.
Most of the time that content is fine. It's the structure around it, how pages link and cluster, that decides whether any of it gets found.
You're not sure whether you show up in AI answers.
Most business owners have typed their own question into ChatGPT and found someone else's business in the answer. It's an unsettling way to learn how much search has shifted.
Nobody controls what those systems cite. What you can control is whether your site is organized clearly enough to be read and understood in the first place.
What We Work On
Three areas, chosen because they move the most and require the least disruption to what you already have.
Your Most Important Pages
We identify the pages that matter most to your business and improve their messaging, structure, headings, and search optimization. These are usually your homepage, key service pages, and other high-value landing pages.
Your Website Structure
We organize your existing pages and content into clearer groups, then strengthen the internal links between them. This helps visitors find related information and helps search platforms understand what your business is known for.
Your Path to Inquiry
We review how visitors move from arriving on your site to contacting you and then clarify calls to action, improve page flow, and address unnecessary friction in your forms or navigation.
How the Reset Works
Here’s how we identify the problems, make the right improvements, and leave you with a stronger website in four weeks.
01
Review & Priorities
We audit your website structure, key pages, search visibility, internal links, and inquiry pathways. Then we determine where the Reset will have the greatest impact.
02
Structure & Connections
We reorganize priority content, strengthen internal links, and clarify how your pages fit together.
03
Page Improvements
We refine the messaging, layout, headings, calls to action, and on-page SEO for your most important pages.
04
FInal Optimization & Roadmap
We complete final technical improvements, test the updated pathways, and provide a clear report outlining what changed and what I recommend next.
What Better Website Structure Can Do
The Website Reset uses the same structural and content strategy behind our ongoing client work. Here are a few examples of what can happen when a website becomes easier to understand, navigate, and discover.

How Structured Tent Layout Content Increased Search Visibility and Leads
By identifying how event planners search for tent layouts and seating arrangements, we transformed a simple gallery into a structured planning resource. Using custom post types and scalable SEO architecture, the site now captures high-intent planning searches and helps generate approximately 100 quote requests per month.

From Visibility Crisis to Authority Growth
Northeast Barrel Company is a specialty provider of used and new barrels for aging spirits, homebrewing, and décor. After transitioning from WooCommerce to Shopify in late 2024, they faced a massive drop in organic traffic due to structural SEO issues — but they didn’t need a full redesign. They needed a strategic SEO partner.
Before you book a Website Reset
Commonly Asked Questions
Is this a full redesign?
No. The Website Reset improves the website you already have. I may adjust page layouts where needed, but this service does not include a complete visual rebrand or rebuild.
How do I know if I need a website reset or a new website design?
The Reset is best for an established website with a solid foundation that has become disorganized, outdated, or less effective over time. If the platform, design, or content needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, we recommend a full website project instead.
How many pages are included?
During the initial audit, we identify the priority pages that can be meaningfully improved within the four-week scope. The Reset is not a full-site rewrite or redesign.
Does this include SEO?
Yes. The Reset includes on-page and structural SEO work, including page organization, internal linking, headings, metadata, and optimization of priority content. It does not include backlink outreach, or monthly SEO management.
What do you need from me?
Viewer access to Google Analytics and Search Console, access to your site's backend, and about an hour in week one so we can understand your business and what a good lead actually looks like for you. After that, very little. This runs on our end!
How will I know it worked?
You'll get a documented baseline at the end of the four weeks, and we come back at 90 days with a follow-up report comparing where things stand against it. Structural work compounds over months rather than flipping a switch, so that's when the picture is actually readable. Anyone promising faster is guessing.
How is this different than the Website Clarity Report?
The Clarity Report tells you what's happening and what to do about it. The Reset is us doing the priority work. If you already know something's off and would rather not manage the fix yourself, start here. If you want direction first, start there. The $999 credits toward a Reset if you move forward within 30 days.
Who is this not for?
Sites built in the last year or so, since there usually isn't enough drift yet to justify it. Businesses without an established website, which is a different conversation and one I'm glad to have. And anyone hoping for a guarantee about rankings or AI citations, because nobody can honestly offer that.
Your site is just working with old instructions.
Let's take four weeks to bring it current. A documented baseline when we finish, and a follow-up report at 90 days so you can see what moved. $3,500 flat. Four weeks. No rebuild required.
Not sure a Reset is the right call? Start with a Website Clarity Report instead. It's $999, and it credits toward a Reset if you decide to move forward.
