Get Found Online–
Without the Guesswork
Download our free keyword tracking tool we use in client audits–designed to help you organize, optimize, and get real results from search.
How do you use the keyword tracker?
1. Brainstorm keywords based on real search data
Tab 1: Keyword Brainstorm
Think of words or phrases your ideal client might search to find your services. Type them into the tracker’s first tab, just one per row.
Then, type those into Google and see what google’s auto-complete suggestions are along with its “People Also Ask” notes on the search and add those in.
2. Spot content ideas from real client questions
Tab 2: Keyword Tracker
Use a tool like Ubersuggest to find the search volume and difficulty for each keyword. Copy those numbers into your sheet and think of which page or blog post (or future content!) on your site that keyword would make the most sense.
3. Track Your Target Keywords & Where They Show Up
Tab 3: Content Opportunities
Put Google’s “People Also Ask” questions into tab 3 and organize where this question would make the most sense on your site (FAQs, a blog post, etc) and tie it to the related keyword you want to rank for.
4. Identify "quick wins" already hiding in your analytics
Tab 4: Quick Wins
Review Google Analytics and Google Search Console (we’ll tell you where to look!) so you can find pages with decent traffic and which keywords might already be ranking that need a little boost!
It’s the same system we use in our Monthly Optimization Program and Clicks & Code Website Audits: now yours, for free.
We’ve included an example in each tab so you can see how to use it moving forward!
